Ethics & Policies
Manuscripts should have a similarity index below 20% (excluding references, methods, and standard phrases). We use plagiarism detection software to check all submissions.
Tips to reduce similarity:
- Paraphrase properly instead of copying text
- Use quotation marks for direct quotes
- Cite all sources appropriately
- Write in your own words
High similarity may result in desk rejection.
All listed authors must meet these criteria:
- Substantial contribution to conception, design, or data acquisition
- Involvement in drafting or revising the manuscript
- Approval of the final version
- Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work
Contributors who don't meet all criteria should be acknowledged rather than listed as authors. Changes to authorship after submission require written consent from all authors.
